Proud Camden is a nightclub that stands out from the crowd. As well as major live acts, the venue provides a host of additional entertainments to entertain all visitors.
The club’s music nights really are first class. Acts like Moby, ASAP Rocky, New Young Pony Club and many more have played here, while a string of international top name DJs also frequent the club every night of the week. They even do acoustic and folk gigs on the weekend, a couple of which I’ve played myself!
However, there’s more to this particular nightclub than simply music. There is a very established restaurant at the venue which serves a great range of classic burgers and pizzas. The restaurant has its own projector and monitor set up, meaning that often there will be a film playing while you are eating, while in the summertime the nightclub provides a full BBQ outside.
As well as music and food, there are themed parties. These events are usually rather raunchy and are not for the faint of heart, although their Hallowe’en and New Year’s Eve parties are something to behold!
During the day, the inside space also doubles as an art gallery. Admission to Proud Camden is free until around 9pm when it costs £10 to get in, but this is a great price for a venue that has it all!
